BG called for review of a stability pact set up to aid Balkan reconstruction, saying it needed to be redefined to reflect changes in the region. The pact`s spokesman responded by saying some aspects could be reviewed but that the pact was dismayed by Sofia`s varying signals. `The Stability Pact is based on documents from two years ago when there was a totally different situation in the Balkans`, Vladimir Filipov, BG coordinator for the pact, said. `We suggest that problems should be reviewed and redefined. Such discussion should take place by mid-year`.
