Bulgarian Schools See Sport Push

Society | August 30, 2004, Monday // 00:00

Sport routines in Bulgarians schools saw a promotion on Monday, as pupils are due to return to classrooms in two weeks.

Starting from this school year, there will be three sport classes a week instead of two.

The kids and teenagers will either spend that extra time at outside sport complexes, or make tours.

The move comes in response to continuing criticism for education authorities. According to many experts, sport routines in Bulgarian schools are insufficient.
