The Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Nikolay Vassilev represents Bulgaria at the regular annual meeting of the prime ministers of the countries within the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA). Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg could not attend the meeting because of his official visit to New York. Vassilev presented the Bulgarian position on the cooperation within CEFTA.“Bulgaria considers the cooperation with the CEFTA member states as successful,” Vassilev said in his address during the meeting. He acquainted the participants with the economic program of the Bulgarian Government. He said that the economic program aim is reach high and stable economic growth in the range of 5%-7% for the period 2002-2005. Deputy Economy Minister Lyubka Kachakova and experts from the Ministry of Economy, of the Interior, of Agriculture and Agency “Customs” participate in the Bulgarian delegation.
