PM CALLED ON ISRAELI BUSINESSMEN TO INVEST

The Bulgarian Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg addressed the Israeli-American Friendship League during his visit to New York. In his speech to the representatives of the league, Saxe-Coburg said: “Bulgaria is the only country in Europe where in the end of the Second World War, the Jewish community is bigger than before the war. 50,000 Jewish people, men and women, were not deported to the camps of death. For us, the Bulgarians that was the only right decision then.” Saxe-Coburg briefed the league on the priorities of the Bulgarian Government. He concluded that he hopes that some of the Israeli businessmen will consider Bulgaria as an opportunity for expanding their businesses. The Prime Minister's wife Marguarita, his sister Maria Louisa, Stefan Tafrov, Stoyan Ganev and the Bulgarian ambassador to US Filip Dimitrov attended the meeting with the league.The Bulgarian Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg also had a meeting with George Soros in his private residence on 5th Avenue, New York.
