The door-knocking Olympic games have served for permanent inspiration for Bulgarian artists, as the latest sculpture exhibition in Sofia comes to prove.

Angel Stanev and Emil Popov installed their works in front of the National Stadium Vassil Levski as part of the local municipal project for renovation of the stadium's surrounding area.

The sculptural pieces are dedicated to the memory of late alpinist Hristo Hristov, who is the youngest Bulgarian to step on Everest, but died on his way down.
