MBMD:68%-PRESIDENT MUST GUARANTEE SOCIAL SECURITY

A survey, conducted by the sociological agency MBMD, shows that 68% of the Bulgarians believe that the most important role of the President is to guarantee social security. Much less – 22%- consider that the most important role of the President is to represent Bulgaria abroad. Asked how they assess the results from the first round of the presidential elections, 58,1% from the 753 surveyed people, answered that the results is not positive for the future. 31% answered that the results are positive. The MBMD sociologists comment that the presidential debate that will be broadcasted two days before the run offs will be most important for the Bulgarians’ decision who to vote for, if they decide to vote at all.
