GOVERNMENT TO ANALYSE EC REPORT IN DETAILS

Dimitris Kourkoulas, Head of the EC delegation to Bulgaria submitted the EC report to the Bulgarian Parliament. Meglena Kuneva, Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister and Chief Negotiator with the European Union and Kourkoulas gave a joint press conference. Kuneva called the report "positive" and she added that it showed that "the efforts of the new Government have given good results." She explained that the report will be analysed in details and subsequently every Ministry will set up a schedule to correct the problems and to implement the recommendations in the report. Asked whether in case that a president other than Petur Stoyanov is elected, EU accession process will be harmed, Kuneva said that Stoyanov has important role in the accession process and that she wishes him good luck.
