The choice of contemporary Bulgaria needs to be responsible and consistent, the Union of the Democratic Forces (UDF) declared in an address of November 14, 2001, signed by Ekaterina Mihaylova, the Union of Democratic Forces leader. The UDF called on its members to make their national choice and vote for the independent candidate president Petur Stoyanov.
