Newly picked Mrs. Globe pledged to launch a special campaign in support of the Bulgarian nurses in Libya. The beautiful Madame disclosed that she is planning a joint initiative with Bulgaria's football champion, Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
The 28-year-old Bulgarian arrived back home on Wednesday. Rumiana Marinova was chosen as winner from a ten-member jury panel. She was followed by Mrs. Croatia and Mrs. Finland.
Marinova told Sofia-based bTV channel that the finalists had to make an impression not only with their looks. She said the jury members were probably impressed by her job - a dentist specialized in child treatment, and by her commitment to the Libyan medics cause.
The Bulgarian will submit half of her USD 1 M prize for charity.
