A week after the Olympic Flame went through Sofia, the spirit of the upcoming Olympic games in Athens has visited Bulgarian capital again with a special exhibition.

Stamps and slogans imaging 72 photocopies of Greek marks dedicated to different summer Olympics over the years, including the first one in modern times in 1896 in Athens, are exhibited in Bulgarian capital.

Sofia's National Palace of Culture has also seen Bulgarian slogans and calendars topically related to sports and the Olympic movement.

The opening ceremony held on Friday was attended by Bulgarian sports and transport ministers Vassil Ivanov and Nikolay Vassilev, as well as by Greek Transport Minister Mihalis Lyapis and the country's ambassador to Bulgaria H.E. Prokopios Mandzuranis.
