Union “Izbori”, the scrutineer consortium, selected by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), does not exist, Info Radio announced. Under the contract with the Council of Ministers, the state was supposed to pay BGN 377,000 to Union "Izbori." The only company of the consortium relatively known in the computer world - "Express Consult" – has not participated in the presidential election, it transpired during an interview with the Director of the company’s Executive Council Stefan Buchvarov. Last week the company has been sold to its former owner “Global Soft”, Cyprus. According to Buchvarov the only agreement of the company has been connected with authorizing Krassimir Stoyanov as Express Consult representative on behalf of Union "Izbori". Buchvarov claims that among the company’s documents there is no contract with CEC on participating in the elections. After the scandal with the votes counting, the technical team of the company confirmed that it has not been involved in the elections. Krassimir Stoyanov, Chairman of Union "Izbori" said that the allegations against the organization are false and are "sabotage." He added that since yesterday, the experts of the scrutineer were terror targets and nobody has listened to their stand on the problems with the votes counting. The Central Electoral Commission did not hold talks with the Union's representatives before taking the decision to count the votes on its own.
