SOFTWARE PROBLEMS DELAY MEDIAN ELECTION RESULTS

The Central Electoral Commission could not announce in the night of the presidential elections as promised the median results from the presidential elections on November 11 due to technical problems. The information from the Regional Electoral Section was sent irregularly to the Central Electoral Commission. In several electoral sections, the ballots were counted manually. “ The companies which process the information are to be held responsible for that,” Bisser Trayanov, spokesman of the Central Electoral Commission. He did not make prognosis when the results are to be announced. He expressed his hope that by the evening of November 12, the results will be announced.
