The elections day in India ended.

307 ballots were cast in the in Australia, South Korea, China and Japan.

Bulgarian citizens registered for the elections in Istanbul. 250,000 people currently living in Turkey have Bulgarian citizenship. 38,840 of them went to the polls for the June 2001 parliamentary elections.

The Bulgarians in Russia voted in seven polling stations (2 in Moscow and one in St. Petersburg, Sochi, Yaroslavl, Sevastopol and Surgut). Moscow has the biggest voter potential where there are roughly 1,700 Bulgarians.

Only one polling station in Macedonia is set up in Skopje.

60 Bulgarians living on permanent basis in Belgrade registered for the presidential elections.

Bulgarians living in Germany can vote in Berlin, Munich, Bonn and Hamburg. Around 450 of them registered for the elections.

In Romania, the Bulgarian citizens voted in Bucharest and Timisoara. No incidents or irregularities have been reported, the Bulgarian Embassy in Romania said. Turnout is low.

In Brussels, turnout is lower than at the parliamentary elections but has surpassed initial expectations, a member of the local electoral commission said. 162 people registered for
the elections.

The only polling station in Austria is in Vienna where 130 Bulgarians registered to vote for president.

The polling stations in Italy are in Milan and Rome.
