Credits of up to BGN 7500 will be granted only with two warrantors under the microcrediting project, Lidia Shuleva, Deputy Prime Minister and Social Minister announced on November 10 at a seminar in Velingrad. The project envisages microcredits in the range of BGN 5000-15000 for the development of small and medium sized enterprises. The credits interest rate will be about 10%. A guarantee fund of nearly BGN 20 M is to guarantee the credits. About 4000 new jobs will be created during the project’s realization. The project’s executive council will be formed within a week. The municipalities where the project is to be applied and the banks that are to grant the credits are still to be chosen.
