RUN-OFFS POSSIBLE DUE TO LOW ELECTORAL TURNOUT

The Bulgarian people is expected to choose its President on November 11 when the Bulgarian Presidential elections will take place. However, in case that 3,500.000 Bulgarians decide not to vote for President, which is a possibility predicted by sociologists, run-offs will be organized on November 18. More than half of the Bulgarians who have the right to vote should have voted so that the elections are considered valid. The sociological agency MBMD predicted 64% electoral turnout, Alpha Research – 55%, Gallup – 60%-65%.
