In parallel to Portugal's EURO 2004, Bulgaria is hosting a football tournament joined by hundreds of teams. Only the event is not joined by professionals but football fans, giving them the chance to run into the spotlight themselves.

The tournament is taking place at the complex of the National Sports Academy in Sofia.

Participants showed not only high sporting spirit, but creativity in figuring out their teams' names. The Woodcutters, The Fat Ballet and Mancho Yunack (an allusion to Manchester United) were among the original ideas.

The Kamenitsa Fan Cup was joined by 244 teams from capital Sofia alone. This is the event's second edition, which market a noticeable increase in fans' interest.
