“SOS Children’s Villages” in Bulgaria organizes interviews on November 12 and November 22 for women who want to become “mothers.” “ We look for women between 25 and 45 years old who do not have family engagement, “ Sonya Tacheva from the organization said. Since, SOS Children’s villages has been founded, more than 500 women have applied for “ the position mother.” Few turned out to be suitable. Every SOS mother brings up seven children in one family house. The two SOS villages are in Dren and Tryavna. Currently, in the two villages work 24 SOS mothers and 14 “assistant mothers.” The SOS mother needs to be an assistant for one or two years before she qualifies. Some of the “intern-mothers” do not manage with the hard task to sacrifice their personal life for that of the children that they have to bring up. Some of the women have worked in the villages for nine years now. They are to soon retire and that is why “new mothers” are sought. The telephone for interested women is 02/9557000.
