A unique car-racing event organized especially for disabled people took place in Sofia on Saturday.

The Parliament co-organized the contest, and Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg was its patron.

He even took a ride with one of the participants, as his navigator.

The event apparently comes to prove authorities' care for the disabled, after there had been fierce criticism for the Cabinet's social policies. Recently, leftist Socialists Party even initiated a non-confidence vote by that reason.
