LYBIA HUMAN RIGHTS OFFICIALS MET THE BG MEDICS

The six Bulgarian medics, convicted in intentionally infecting 393 Libyan kids with the HIV virus were visited in the prison by representatives of the Libyan Association for Human Rights. The Association is a member of the International Charity Foundation Qaddafi. The meeting with human rights representatives lasted for hour and a half. The talks focused on observing the defendants’ human and civil rights, their health condition and other everyday problems that they have. The Bulgarian Ambassador in Tripoli and other Embassy officials attended the meeting. The medics thanked for the visit and the attention, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry commented.
