TV PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE TO INFLUENCE BULGARIAN VOTE

34% of Bulgarians were influenced by the presidential debate on bTV on November 5, a survey of sociological agency Alpha Research showed. During the debate, Stoyanov who is running for second presidential mandate disclosed a Secret Security Services Report against the candidate for President and former Interior Minister Bogomil Bonev. 36% of the respondents approved Stoyanov's conduct during the debate, and 24% approved Bonev’s. Democratic Alliance candidate Reneta Inddzova was placed third with 10%,as far as the public approval is concerned, followed by the presidential candidate George Ganchev with 7%, and Petur Beron, nominated by the Bulgaria Union, with 5%. 53% of the respondents think that the information, made public by Stoyanov should have been disclosed.
