The team of the Economy Ministry, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Nikolay Vassilev gave a press conference on the work of the ministry for the first one hundred days since in power. According to the ministry officials, the Economy Ministry has become depolitized and entirely lacking shady affairs.The Ministry has received revenues of BGN 50 M from privatization so far. The Economy Ministry officials also said that BGN 5 M ministerial expenses will be saved. Also, an auction of the luxury automobiles of the Ministry will soon take place. According to Apostol Apostolov, Chief of the Privatization Agency, the revenues in the state budget from privatization will reach BGN 100 M by the end of 2001.
