KREMIKOVTSI TO RESTART STEEL COLD ROLLING

Krimikovtsi, Bulgarian metallurgical plant, invested BGN 4 M in its cold rolling facility, Dnevnik Daily wrote. It had stopped functioning due to a technical failure. The repaired facility will allow the plant to restart its production of special types of steel. The facility was provided and put into operation by the Swedish ACEA and SKF. Its cost is some USD 10 M and its average annual capacity is 400,000 tones. A contract for the sale of 100,000-150,000 tones of production has been signed with a German company.
