Lieutenant General Czeslaw Piatas, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, arrived in Bulgaria on November 6, on a two-day official visit. The visit is at the invitation of General Miho Mihov, Chief of the General Staff of the Bulgarian Army. The two officials will discuss the reform in the Bulgarian army, its participation in peacekeeping operations, bilateral military cooperation and progress in integration into NATO structures. Lt. Gen. Piatas will meet Defense Minister Nikolay Svinarov and visit divisions of the Bulgarian Army.
