The team of Bulgarian scientists, part of the expedition for exploring Orpheus tomb, pledged to reveal most of the secrets hidden in the Tatul tomb.

The expedition will be headed by Professor Nikolay Ovcharov.

The tomb was disclosed 75 years ago by renown historian Professor Venedikov.

An overall complex of other images and constructions is situated in vicinity of the tomb, including a ritual stairway on the tomb's lower part.

Orpheus is said to have come from Bulgaria's southern Rhodope Mountains. He is also believed to have been buried there.
