Bulgarian Films with Awards in Wiesbaden

Two Bulgarian films were awarded at the 4th Festival of Central and Eastern European Film in Wiesbaden.

Bulgarian documentary film won the first prize for the second year. The international jury awarded Stefan Komandarev's "Alphabet of the hope".

This is Komandarev's second prize at that festival after in 2003 he was once again victorious with his "Bread over the fence".

Yet another Bulgarian victory was registered at the festival. The Public's award in the Student's films section was given to the young Bulgarian director Dragomir Sholev for his "Hanabera".

Bulgarian Victoria Marinov with "A Dream" also was among the winners in Wiesbaden. The movie was ranked second in the Students competition I (documentary and experimental films) category.
