“The war in Afghanistan is politically and militarily untenable as a stated aim,” General Anguel Marin, presidential candidate, supported by Coalition For Bulgaria said in Smolyan. "My opinion is that the strikes on Afghanistan are a US governmentalal reaction intended to appease the public," he said. According to Marin, from a military point of view, this war cannot produce results, it cannot break the backbone of terrorism,. “The war is pointless because the Taleban are not the ones who created terrorism but the rampant injustice in the world and the fact that people in many countries cannot live a normal life,” Marin commented
