Russian Ballet Stars Back in Bulgaria

Soloists of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre will once again stage major performances in Bulgaria.

Bulgarian fans will enjoy "Swan Lake" and "La Bayadere" on May 9 and 10. This would be the fourth visit of soloists of the Russian Bolshoi Theatre to the country.

The main stars of the two performances will be Nadezhda Grachova and Vladimir Neporozhnii.

Nadezhda Alexandrovna Grachova's remarkable career started at the Choreographic Institute of Alma Ata in Kazakstan in 1978, when she was nine. In 1988 she joined the Bolshoi Ballet. She is laureate dancer of Russian Federation for her performance in Spartacus, Legend of Love, Giselle, and La Bayadere.

Neporozhnii graduated at the Moscow Choreographic School and joined Bolshoi Theatre in 1991.
