Bulgaria should be realistic as far as the heavy measures within budget 2002 are concerned, according to the Bulgarian Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg, the National Radio reported. Saxe-Coburg said that during his first conversation with the Mayor of Razgrad Venelin Uzunov. “The Bulgarian nation is extremely intelligent and our country has substantial potential to overcome the crisis,” the Prime Minister said. A memorial plaque of Boris III was officially put up in Razgrad on November 2. The Bulgarian Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg in person took off the cover of the plaque with his father’s image. The memorial plaque was initiated by Nikola Nikolov, MP from the United Democratic Forces. Nikolov shared his idea with Simeon II in Madrid two years ago when the current Bulgarian Prime Minister was still monarch in exile. The plaque was made by the sculptor Lyubomir Dobrev.
