NEW RAILWAYS AND MARINE CHIEFS APPOINTED

Deputy Ministers Nahit Zia and Zlatolina Moukova, Anton Bourov and Anton Ginev became the new managers of the Bulgarian State Railways. Transport Minister Plamen Petrov ordered the new appointments. Valeri Apostolov, Deputy Transport Minister Lyubomil Ivanov, Kiril Ermenkov and Vasko Raichev are to enter the Control Board of the State Railways. Tsvetan Dilov, hitherto deputy-director general of the Air Control is appointed director of the organization and will replace Zhivko Zhelyazkov. Deputy Transport Minister Zlatolina Moukova will member the Board of Directors. The dismissal orders of the Directors of the 'Bulgarian Marine Shipping Company' and Port Varna were already signed. The employees in those Varna-based companies, however, hoped that Eng. Stoyan Stumpf, CEO of the port, will remain at his position. Minister Petrov also made changes in the management of 10 other companies, among them the airports in Burgas, Gorna Oryahovitsa and Plovdiv.
