Bulgaria is getting ready for the massive celebrations dedicated to the country's entry in the Alliance.

April 2 second will see the special ceremony for the welcoming of Bulgaria and the other six new NATO members in the Alliance. The national flags of the seven countries will be hoisted in Brussels and Sofia as well as in the other six capitals.

Bulgaria's capital Sofia will mark the historic event with a major concert at the Alexander Nevski Square. The stars of tomorrow's concert will be folk singer Valya Balkanska, jazz performer Yildiz Ibrahimova, Andrey Batashov's percussion formation, the Bulgarian rock band Shturtsite and many others. The show will be transmitted on Bulgarian National Television and on the Internet, by BTC-NET & Co.

A special stamp and an envelope will also be issued on the occasion and will be validated on April 2.
