The Russian Nuclear Safety Inspectorate has tightened the requirements on the transportation of spent nuclear fuel on the territory of Russia, head of the inspectorate's Siberian section Valentin Denisov told today's news conference in Novosibirsk.

A train with solid spent fuel to be delivered to the Zheleznogorsk reprocessing plant in Krasnoyarsk territory, Siberia, is being currently formed in Kozlodui, Bulgaria. Denisov said additional precautions will be adopted during its transportation.
