Plamen Petrov, Bulgarian Transport and Communications Minister, is to appoint a new CEO of the state-owned company Air Traffic Control (ATC), sources form the ministry said, quoted by Dnevnik Daily. There are several lists of potential candidates for the position. The new CEO will be chosen in two weeks. Tsvetan Dilov, Plamen Nakev and Milan Marinov are the candidates that are most likely to get the position. Dilov is the present ATC’s Deputy CEO. Nakev is a former Balkan Airlines accountant, while Marinov has been working in the Chief Air Administration department with the Transport Ministry. The ATC annual revenue amount to BGN 150 M from navigation fees.
