Steve Hanke, US expert and adviser of the BG President Stoyanov, accused King Simeon of populism and of use of cheap pre elections promises. Living in exile the King came back to the country a month ago and will run for the elections with his political force. He did not declare yet his political and economic program as the official registration of the party is expected May 2. Professor Steve Hanke is a long term adviser to BG president and one of the strong supporters of the system of the currency board, imposed by IMF 4 years ago and still existing in the country.
