A joint venture EcoPack Bulgaria was established for package recycling by 18 Bulgarian and foreign companies on Monday.
EcoPack has set foot on the market with the purpose to create an effective joint system for package leftovers recycling.
Under the new venture, the participating companies, including Coca Cola HBC Bulgaria, Danone-Serdika, Devin, Unilever, Tetra Pack Bulgaria, Carlsberg Bulgaria, Agrima, Gotmar, ITD, Link, Florina Bulgaria, Pobeda, Ficosota Sintez, Sars Group, Prista Oil, Kaven Iradis, Ganchev and Herti, will be licensed by Environment and Waters Ministry for the first ever joint package leftovers recycling system in Bulgaria.
EcoPack Bulgaria, to be managed by a 9-strong Board of Directors, which will be chaired over by Coca Cola HBC President Paul Mulligan, is going to work out both short-term and long-term programs of package leftovers processing and recycling to be implemented by Bulgarian municipalities.
