Young Bulgarian pop singer Grafa dominated the ceremony for handing this year's Music Awards of Sofia-based BG Radio, a popular station for the compositions of local artists.

Grafa, whose real name is Vladimir Ampov, was nominated in four of the 12 categories, and took two of the statuettes - for BG Artist and BG Lyrics.

The BG Debut award went to Galya Hristova, a top dance choreographer now making her singing breakthrough with the pop track "Warm Satin".

Beloslava, whose repertoire includes a wide range of compositions from hip-hop to jazz, swept the award for BG Female Artist. Her latest hit single is a duet with rap "hooligans" Upsurt, which stormed nightclubs across the country over the last few months.

The BG Live Performance statuette was handed to Te, a band lead by teenage idol Lubo.

Veteran hit-maker Vassil Naydenov outshined his rivals in a newly established category - the one for Best Promotion. Novinite.com publisher Maxim Behar handed the award to Naydenov, who was praised for his latest album "I Can't Go without You."

However, the award was not Naydenov's only trump for gripping the public's attention that night. He surprisingly performed a duet with another veteran hit-maker, Lili Ivanova, which was their first ever joint appearance.

The ceremony was also spiced up by Galya Hristova and Yoana, with both young ladies using skirt-off tricks to startle the audience. During her duet with Peter Andonov, young Yoana suddenly lifted up her black tulle skirt, revealing black pants and netlike hose. Later during the ceremony, Galya, dancing wild to her "Warm Satin" super hit, ripped off her dress, under which only a minimized top and tight shorts were to be seen.
