Bulgarian Rossitsa Ivanova, aged 17, from the city of Russe was the lucky one from her hometown chosen to enter the Miss Bulgaria 2004 contest, that takes place at the end of March.

The auditioning in Russe took place on Thursday evening, and is part of the 30 regional castings carried out by Visages Models agency to pick the 30 Miss Bulgaria finalists. The ceremony in the Danube city was hosted by veteran Iren Onteva who is currently one of Bulgaria's most popular fashion models.

Experts from Visages have already chosen 17-year-old Ivanina Mineva from Silistra, and same-age Irina Marinova from Targovishte to compete fro this year's Miss Bulgaria title.

The final one of the regional castings should take place on February 28 and 29 at the Kempinski Hotel Zografski in capital Sofia. Then, all those who didn't make it to the local auditionings can try their fortune, and maybe get to appear on the Miss Bulgaria "big night."
