The Bulgarian President Stoyanov attended the ceremony during which the National Guards were sworn in. Defense Minister Svinarov also attended the ceremony in front of the "Alexander Nevski" cathedral in Sofia. President Stoyanov said that he still has not studied in details the governmental program that was made public on October 23. `I will meet the ministers to understand how they see the perspectives for Bulgaria. That is even more important to me than the assessment for the first 100 days since the Cabinet is in power, ` Stoyanov commented. He added that he wishes only successes to the current government because Bulgaria needs that. `I warned against illusions during the pre-election campaign. I sincerely believe that the Government will be able to overcome these illusions and become a stable government – that, in reality, is the hope of all Bulgarians today,` the Bulgarian President said. Asked whether he will announce his position on the Radio and Television Act soon, Stoyanov answered that the act gives him the opportunity to postpone his decision. `My program is very busy these days,` he explained.
