Bulgaria's Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg will order a check into the claims that a total of 30 Bulgarian top officials have bought luxury apartments in Sofia at privilege prices using state intercession.

Regional Development Minister Valentin Tserovski, as well as spokesperson of the Council of Ministers Tsvetelina Uzunova and the Council's Chief Secretary Sevdalin Mavrov are said to be on the list.

Last week State Administration Minister Dimitar Kalchev said that in 2003, more than 30 state-owned lodgings were given away, insisting that the move was perfectly legal.
