PRIME MINISTER TO AWARD BULGARIAN AUTHOR

Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg will award a prominent Bulgarian author on November 1- the day of the leaders of the Bulgarian National Revival. The award `Paissii Hilendarsky` is given for big achievements in the sphere of art, culture and history. Last year, the award was given to Professor Vera Mutafchieva. All state and non-governmental organizations in Bulgaria have the possibility to propose their nominations. The jury that is to decide on who will receive the award has seven members. Among them is the actress Stoyanka Mutafova, the artists Svetlin Roussev and Krum Damyanov, writer Gencho Stoev and architect Vassil Kitov. The awarded author will receive a diploma, a honourable sign and BGN 10,000.
