Legendary band Jethro Tull as well as Living Color and Laibach will come to Bulgaria in the beginning of 2004, Sofia Music Enterprises promised.
Laibach will rock Sofia March 1, while Living Color will hit Sofia stage April 2. The tickets will cost BGN 14 to 18 and will be in the music stores February 9.
Jethro Tull show will take place May 29. The UK band is acknowledged to be one of the unique phenomena in the world music.
The band formed in February 1968. After their first tentative blues oriented album, titled "This Was", the group moved through successive records towards a more progressive sound. With sales of around 60 million albums and more than 2500 concerts in 40 countries, the band continue to tour and record, typically performing 100 concerts per year.
Laibach is officially founded in Tribovlje in the beginning of the 1980s, but it became world-renowned name in 1987 with its Opus Dei album. Since 1992 with the Kapital album the techno sound gained the upper hand in the music of the band.
Living Color gained public interest in the mid 1980s, as their music is a combination of modern rock, rap, drum and base and jungle funk. The debut album of the band Vivid hits the stores in the summer of 1988. In 1989 the band swept several Grammies. In 1995 all of the band members start their own projects and now they are back together to rock the world with the new CollideOscope album.
