Unique jewellery exhibition was opened Monday in Sofia. The exhibition called "Valuable Links" was opened by the Netherlands' Ambassador to Bulgaria HE Baroness H.J.C.M. Van Lynden.

The works of the best jewellers of the 55 member countries in the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) as well as 10 other countries from the Asia and the Mediterranean region were shown at the expo.

The major event was organized by the Netherlands' embassy in Sofia and Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry and the Culture Ministry. It was meant to be a bridge between the 2003 Netherlands' chairmanship over OSCE and Bulgaria's in 2004.

Some of the presented jewelleries were made especially for the exhibition and present the main problems OSCE faces: security, terror, and violence, the organizers explained.

The exhibition was presented in Maastricht during the 11th OSCE Ministerial Council before coming to Sofia.
