USAID PROJECT TO FINANCE PUBLIC SERVICES CENTERS

Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Kostadin Paskalev met Debora McClain from the United States Agency for International Development, USAID. They discussed a project, financed by USAID for opening of centers that will improve public services for the population of Northern Bulgaria by means of training of officials of the local administrations and self-government structures. The aims of the project are to achieve de-concentration of powers towards the local and regional authorities, decentralization of the financial resources and increasing of the responsibilities of the local powers.
