DANISH AND BG INTERIOR MINISTRIES SHARE EXPERIENCE

The three-day visit to Bulgaria of the Danish Interior Ministry delegation, headed by Police Chief Thorsten Hesselbjerg ended. On the last day of their visit, the delegation met senior officials of the Bulgarian National Police Service Directorate (NPSD). The visit was made at the invitation of the Interior Minister Georgi Petkanov. `I am very pleased that the Danish police have had only few problems with Bulgarian nationals`, Minister Petkanov said at a working meeting. Col. Minko Brajkov, NPSD Deputy Director, briefed the participants on the plans for cooperation between the police services of the two countries. The Bulgarian and Danish police officers exchanged experience in the fight against corruption, Internet crimes, forged documents and diverted funds, granted by the European Union.
