A fully packed Winter Palace exploded on Tuesday evening as legendary rock group Helloween staged a major concert.
Some 1500 die-hard fans in the traditional heavy metal outfit shouted the group's name, while others managed to overcome the barriers around the stage, to be shortly driven back by the security guards.
The rock legends presented songs from their new album Rabbit Don't Come Easy as well as some of their greatest hits such as Keeper of the 7 keys and Future World that drove the fans to music rage.
The legendary rock dinosaurs brought 700 kg of musical equipment, among which three bas guitars, seven solo guitars, cymbals, amplifiers and microphones. Four dressing rooms, supplied with Bulgarian beer, power drinks, citrus fruits, honey and cold meat pieces, were placed at their disposal. Helloween management also asked for a huge amount of ice, which should be replaced constantly, for the backstage.
The concert was part of the band's longest world tour Rabbits on the Run Tour 2003, which promotes Helloween's latest album Rabbit Don't Come Easy, released at the beginning of the year.
