`Bulgaria proposed projects worth more than USD 2 BLN`, Deputy PM and Minister of Regional Development Kostadin Paskalev said. The sum needed for bringing the infrastructure to European standards is EUR 400 BLN. `The public sector cannot provide the entire amount of money`, Paskalev pointed out. Possibilities for both public and private investment in the implementation of the projects have been discussed on October 17. The Gorna Arda cascade and Maritsa motorway projects have not been discussed. Negotiations with representatives of the Turkish government are currently being held. `The inter-governmental commission will announce its decision on the projects on October 29,` Deputy PM Paskalev said.
