An exhibition of 41 donated works of Spanish artists was opened Friday evening at Bulgaria's National Gallery for Foreign Art.

The opening ceremony was specially attended by the eldest daughter of the Spain's King Juan Carlos I- the Infanta Elena, accompanied by her husband. Bulgaria's Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg and his wife Margarita Gomez-Acebo were also at the special event.

The Spanish artists were presented special awards at the ceremony.
