BUSINESSMEN AND EX MINISTER INTERROGATED

Plamen Hrankov, owner of the Hrankov hotel was arrested for possible money laundering, 24 Hours daily announced. The businessman is arrested in connection with the drawing of huge dollar sums from Bulbank. Israeli citizens are also involved in the police invsetigarion. `Hrankov was only asked some questions and then back home`, other sorce said for Trud daily. None of the media found the hotel owner to comment. Hrankov owns Castle Hotel in Dragalevtsi, nearby Sofia, former part of Best Western hotel chain and one more in Bankya. The former Bulgarian Interior Minister Emanuil Iordanov was interrogated for a notorious deal with police cars. According to him, he was summoned to Court as a witness. Early in the morning, the Plovdiv broker Hristo Alexandrov surrendered himself surprisingly to the special services in Sofia. He has been sought via Interpol all over the world for the `Agrobusinessbank` affaire.
