Palestinian gunmen have killed three Israelis in a Jewish settlement in the Gaza Strip, Israeli security sources say. The gunmen infiltrated the heavily guarded Netzarim settlement in the central Gaza Strip and opened fire under cover of darkness. Several Israelis were wounded - at least one severely - in the attack, the sources said. Two of the dead were reported to be women. One of the infiltrators was later killed, the officials said. According to a military source quoted by the AFP news agency, two gunmen carried out the attack. Israel radio said the gunmen got through the exterior fence and opened fire, but did not enter the settlement itself. Two wounded Israelis were evacuated by helicopter to Beersheba, it said.
