DEUTSCHE BANK:IMF AGREEMENT WILL BRING INVESTMENTS

According to a Deutsche Bank report for Bulgaria, an agreement between the Bulgarian government and he International Monetary Fund /IMF/ will attract foreign investment to Bulgaria. The report said that the Bulgarian government showed its willingness to reconsider its budget policy, which increases the chances for an agreement with IMF by the end of 2001. According to Deutsche Bank, the increasing commitment to follow financial discipline seems justified and will have positive influence on the economic growth and employment. The Bulgarian prospects are optimistic, the report reads. According to Deutsche Bank, the forecast for Bulgaria`s economic growth is 4.5% for 2001 and 4.2% for 2002.
