Politics | October 11, 2001, Thursday // 00:00
The journalists who cover the work of the government were not allowed for the first time in the building of the government for the beginning of the regular meeting of the ministers. The operators and the photo reporters could not take, on their own, protocol sequence and photos from the governmental meeting. The journalists, accredited for the Cabinet, could not ask questions to the ministers before the meeting. The journalists protested against the decision of the Cabinet not to allow journalists before the regular meeting of the Cabinet. Still, the press speaker of the government Tsvetelina Uzunova said that the new practice of the Cabinet will be to let journalists ask questions only after the meeting after the decisions have already been made.
